Material preparation:
Lay out reference points and patterns on metal stock according to specifications, and prepare materials by preheating if necessary.
Cutting and shaping:
Use various machines like brake presses, shears, and cutting torches, or hand tools, to bend, cut, and shape metal components to the required dimensions.
Assembly and fitting:
Assemble fabricated parts using welding, bolting, or riveting to create complete units or subunits.
Machine operation:
Operate heavy-duty metalworking machinery, including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment.
