Industry: Architectural & Engineering Consultancy

Job Type: Full-Time

A reputed and well-established Architectural & Engineering Consultancy firm in Dubai is looking for a highly qualified and experienced Structural Engineer with a valid Dubai Municipality (DM) G+12 License to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a deep understanding of structural engineering design, authority submissions, and project coordination within the UAE's regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and drawings in compliance with Dubai and UAE building codes and regulations.

Ensure successful submission and approval of structural drawings/documents with:

Dubai Municipality (DM)

Trakhees

Dubai Development Authority (DDA)

Nakheel

RTA (Roads and Transport Authority)

DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority)

Etisalat

Dubai Civil Defense (DCD)

Coordinate with in-house architectural and MEP teams to ensure integration of structural systems within the overall building design.

Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and government authorities for design approvals and inspections.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.

Oversee structural aspects during project execution where necessary to ensure design compliance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.

Must hold a valid Dubai Municipality G+12 Structural Engineer License.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in structural engineering in UAE.

Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes, standards, and local authority procedures.

Demonstrated experience handling full-cycle approval processes with relevant Dubai authorities.

Proficient in structural design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Candidates currently residing in the UAE.

Familiarity with Green Building regulations and sustainable design practices.

Arabic language skills (an advantage, not mandatory).
