Job Summary:

Global Prefab General Contracting LLC is looking for a talented and detail-oriented

Structural Engineer

to join our prefab and modular construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing

structural design, analysis, and AutoCAD drafting

, with hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing

fabrication and construction drawings

for steel and modular structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze

steel, RCC, and light-gauge modular structures

according to UAE standards. Prepare

structural drawings, fabrication layouts, and connection details

using

AutoCAD

. Review and verify

architectural and MEP coordination drawings

for structural feasibility. Conduct

load calculations and design reports

using STAAD Pro, ETABS, or equivalent software. Ensure all designs comply with

UAE and international structural codes

(BS, ACI, Eurocode, etc.). Support

fabrication and site teams

with technical drawings and clarifications. Conduct

site inspections

to monitor fabrication and erection quality. Optimize structural designs for

cost efficiency, modularity, and fabrication speed

. Coordinate with project engineers, draftsmen, and clients for design approvals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

(Master's preferred).

3-7 years of experience

in

structural design and drafting

, preferably in prefab or modular construction. Strong skills in

AutoCAD 2D drafting

-- able to create and modify

detailed fabrication drawings

. Proficiency in

STAAD Pro, ETABS, Revit (optional)

and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of

UAE construction codes, materials, and standards

. Excellent coordination and communication skills. Immediate joiners preferred.
