This position requires a
proactive, independent professional
who can manage projects with minimal supervision and provide strong
technical support to the broader team
. The role may involve
site visits
to project locations; therefore, prior
field experience
is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage structural engineering design tasks for oil & gas infrastructure (onshore/offshore).
Oversee structural analysis, modeling, and design documentation in line with project requirements.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and civil engineers to ensure design integration.
Independently handle and deliver structural design packages, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with deadlines. Review construction drawings and specifications and respond to RFIs and technical queries.
Conduct site visits and inspections during construction phases to ensure engineering intent and quality compliance.
Ensure designs adhere to safety standards, client specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
Minimum 7 years of relevant structural engineering experience
in the oil & gas industry.
Proven ability to manage and deliver structural designs from concept through to construction.
Strong understanding of
industry codes and standards
(e.g., API, AISC, ASCE, ISO).
Proficiency in structural engineering software such as
STAAD.Pro, SACS, SAP2000, ANSYS
, or similar.
Prior
site/construction experience
is
highly desirable
.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
