Doka is looking to hire a dynamic and enthusiastic Structural Engineer to join our fast-growing and versatile team based in Dubai, UAE. In this position, you will be responsible for providing structural calculations for formwork and scaffolding solutions in

high-rise buildings

and

civil infrastructure projects,

andwill support all countries of our region Middle East & Africa. This position reports directly to the Head of Engineering & Product Management MEA.

Support the engineering offices in the country organisations with formwork and scaffolding solutions. Advise our customers, sales employees and project engineers. Create verifiable structural analysis for construction companies and coordinate with professional engineers. Create tools for the dimensioning of formwork solutions. Perform internal and external static trainings. Support regional product developments. Coordinate closely with static department in the head quarter for experience exchange and implementation of best practice approach within the region Middle East & Africa

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering (specialization structural engineering or steel construction is an advantage) Professional experience in structural engineering/statics is desirable Building material knowledge (Steel, Wood, Aluminium, Concrete) Knowledge of European, British & ANSI standards Knowledge of CAD and structural engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, 3D and 2D Rstab, MathCad) Team-oriented work and flexibility Analytical skills and technical proficiency Strong communication skills * Willingness to travel and be mobile
