Job Description

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (B.E.) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Additional certification or training in structural design or construction will be an advantage

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication and erection of structural steel work on construction projects (preferably industrial, infrastructure, or data center projects)

Job Responsibilities:

Study tender drawings and specification and develop fabrication drawing Develop method of statements based on the site condition Shall be able to take quantity takeoff, make BOQ from the approved drawing Plan manpower requirement for different activities like fabrication and Installation work Verify material deliveries and ensure compliance with approved submittals and project standards. Supervise and execute structural works at site as per approved drawings and specifications. Monitor progress and quality of works in accordance with project schedules and QA/QC procedures. Ensure implementation of site safety and environmental practices. Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues. Making of weekly report and presenting to the management for time and cost overruns

Key Skills Required:

Knowledge of structural steel work, Material grade, welding techniques, erection Proficiency in reading AutoCAD and structural drawings Coordination and problem-solving skills Strong communication and reporting abilities Basic understanding of QA/QC procedures and site safety

Preferred Industry Background:

MEP contracting / EPC / Construction / Data Center or Industrial Projects
