Onix Engineering Consultancy is seeking a qualified
Structural Design Engineer
specializing in
reinforced concrete and steel structures
to join our design team. The candidate should have a solid understanding of engineering principles, creativity in structural solutions, and the ability to produce safe and cost-effective designs.
Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
Prepare design drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
Ensure all designs comply with UAE authorities and international standards (BS, ACI, ASCE, Eurocodes, etc.).
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated design solutions.
Provide technical support and respond to site inquiries during project execution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum
5 years of design experience
in buildings and infrastructure.
Proficiency in
ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit
.
Excellent knowledge of local authority requirements and design codes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
