The

Structural Engineer

at ArchiStruct is responsible for structural design processes, managing authority approvals, supervising project execution, and maintaining direct client engagement. The primary focus is on villa reconstruction projects, with occasional involvement in fit-out and new-build assignments. The engineer is fully accountable for preparing accurate cost and time forecasts for the team's workload, overseeing authority submissions, and coordinating with subcontractors and general contractors throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design and Authority Approvals:

? Execute structural design and perform engineering calculations for low-rise new-build and
reconstruction projects
? Prepare and submit documentation to DM, DCD, Trakhees, and other authorities, ensuring
approvals are secured without rejections or major revisions
? Participate in negotiations with statutory authorities as required
? Ensure strict compliance with UAE building codes, as well as relevant British and American
construction standards

Project and Team Coordination:

? Coordinate with the Architect and Draftsman within the execution department
? Manage coordination with subcontractors during internal project execution
? Lead communication with general contractors and their subcontractors during site
supervision activities
? Maintain direct client engagement throughout all project phases, including technical
consultations, resolution of authority feedback, and project reporting

Digital Tools and Process Development:

? Utilize Zoho, Trello and Google Workspace for project tracking, document control, and team
collaboration
? Operate Revit and AutoCAD proficiently for design-related tasks
? Perform engineering calculations using software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, STAAD, or
equivalent platforms
? Actively contribute to the development and implementation of BIM workflows within the
company

Working Conditions :

? Work schedule: 6 days per week
? Office: B203, Prime Business Center, JVC, Dubai
? Occasional business travel across the UAE and GCC region
? Combined office-based work and on-site supervision
