Conduct structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete and steel structures using software like ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
Prepare structural calculation reports, construction drawings, and detailed design documentation.
Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and site teams to resolve design-related issues.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards (BS, ACI, Eurocodes), and client requirements.
Participate in site inspections, quality checks, and structural safety assessments.
Provide technical guidance during construction to resolve unforeseen structural issues.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
UAE Society of Engineers membership or equivalent is an advantage
Proven experience in structural design and supervision of
high-rise buildings
(minimum 3 years)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (for structural BIM), and relevant structural software
Good knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM) and Trakhees or other local authority submission requirements
