The Structural Engineer will be responsible for the structural design, coordination, and supervision of construction activities related to the structural components of a high-rise building project. The role involves ensuring structural integrity, safety, code compliance, and collaboration with design consultants, contractors, and site teams throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and verify structural drawings, models, and calculations
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and consultants to integrate structural elements with overall design
Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant Dubai and international codes (e.g., DM, ACI, BS, Eurocodes)
Supervise and inspect site implementation of structural works including concrete pouring, formwork, reinforcement, and steel structures
Conduct structural analysis using engineering software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
Review shop drawings and method statements submitted by contractors
Evaluate structural materials and ensure they meet specifications and standards
Resolve technical issues, respond to RFIs, and liaise with consultants and contractors
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance of structural works
Support project planning and scheduling through accurate structural inputs
Prepare technical reports and documentation for approvals and submissions
