to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the structural design, analysis, and integrity of projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze mechanical structural elements for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in compliance with local and international standards.
Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and documentation for submission to authorities and clients.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of structural components.
Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, supervise installations, and monitor construction to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for structural elements.
Utilize structural design software such as STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and assist in tender documentation.
Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering problems at construction sites.
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality and UAE building regulations and approvals process.
Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders including contractors and consultants.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
in mechanical or Structural Engineering (Master's is a plus).
Must be certified or eligible for registration with the
Society of Engineers UAE
.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro and other structural analysis tools.
Knowledge of Municipality submission and approval process is essential.
Experience Requirements:
5+ years
of relevant experience in mechanical/structural design and site coordination, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.
Hands-on experience with site coordination and authority approvals.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and team collaboration.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
