, specifically in consulting roles, with a proven track record of designing and overseeing structural solutions for high-rise buildings. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of various projects, ensuring they meet all relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Analysis:
Provide detailed structural design calculations and drawings for various types of buildings, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments (G+12 and above).
Compliance:
Ensure designs comply with the latest Dubai Municipality regulations, local building codes, and international standards. Ensure compliance with sustainability and safety standards.
Consultation:
Act as a structural consultant for key stakeholders including architects, contractors, and clients. Provide expert advice during all stages of the construction process.
Project Coordination:
Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to coordinate and resolve any technical issues during design and construction phases.
Site Supervision:
Oversee site activities and perform regular site inspections to ensure that the structural work is carried out according to the design specifications and in compliance with safety standards.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain all necessary structural documentation, including reports, calculations, and drawings, ensuring proper record-keeping and adherence to project timelines.
Problem-Solving:
Identify, analyze, and resolve structural engineering issues that arise during design and construction.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all structural works meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
Certification:
Dubai Municipality certification for G+12 buildings (required).
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in structural engineering with a focus on high-rise buildings (G+12 and above) in the UAE.
Consultancy Experience:
Prior experience working as a consultant in the UAE construction industry, particularly in design and structural analysis of large-scale projects.
Technical Expertise:
Proficient in structural design software (e.g.,AutoCAD, Revit).
Regulatory Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of Dubai Municipality building codes and regulations, as well as UAE national standards.
