Key Responsibilities:

Review

structural drawings

, calculations, and specifications received from consultants or design teams to ensure feasibility, buildability, and compliance with project requirements. Provide

technical support

to site teams for execution of structural works including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and retaining walls. Coordinate with

architectural

,

MEP

, and

construction teams

to resolve design or site conflicts. Inspect and verify site installations,

reinforcement detailing

, formwork, and concrete works to ensure compliance with approved IFC drawings and QCS/ACI/BS codes. Review and approve

shop drawings

, bar bending schedules (BBS), and method statements related to structural works. Propose

value engineering solutions

and suggest modifications for constructability improvements without compromising design integrity. Attend and lead

technical meetings

with consultants, subcontractors, and clients. Support

site engineers

in solving real-time issues during construction. Assist in preparation of

as-built drawings

, and contribute to documentation for inspections and handovers. Ensure compliance with

HSE regulations

, structural safety guidelines, and project quality procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).

5-10 years

of experience in

contracting companies

in structural engineering roles. Proven experience in

reinforced concrete and steel structure

execution for building, industrial, or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of

design codes

(BS, ACI, Eurocode) and local authority regulations. Proficient in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and MS Office Suite. Familiar with

construction sequencing, temporary works

, and structural troubleshooting on-site.
