Abul Hashem Meah Metal Works Est. LLC is a UAE-based company specializing in structural, architectural, stainless steel, and aluminum works. Established in 2005, it operates as part of the Abul Hashem Group, delivering high-quality metal fabrication services across the UAE

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structural systems across a variety of projects, including buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure works. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the structural integrity and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design & Analysis:
Design and analyze structures using software such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or SAP2000 to ensure strength, stability, and compliance with local and international building codes.

Project Planning & Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and project managers during all project phases, from concept to construction, ensuring structural requirements are integrated effectively.

Drawings & Documentation:
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM tools.

Site Supervision & Quality Control:
Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards; provide technical guidance during construction.

Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure all structural systems comply with regulations, safety standards, and sustainability goals. Identify and mitigate structural risks early in the project lifecycle.

Client Interaction:
Communicate technical details and project updates with clients, consultants, and authorities as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred) Professional Engineering License or working towards it (e.g., PE, SE, CEng) 3-7 years of relevant experience in structural engineering design and supervision Proficiency in structural analysis software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, etc.) Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite Strong understanding of building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocode, IBC)
