We are hiring for the role of an Engineer Structural - (Fabrication/Construction), to be based at our office in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Must have experience in detailed and construction engineering for various types of offshore/onshore structures such as jackets, topsides, substructures, helidecks, bridges, LQ modules, Marine structures, Pressure Vessels,Storage tanks etc.
- Shall be capable of independently handling complex EPC / medium size Construction projects.
- Performing, checking / reviewing and ensuring technical accuracy and quality of all discipline deliverables such as structural analyses, design calculations, drawings, specifications, purchase requisitions, technical bid evaluations etc. during all phases of allotted project i.e. basic, detailed, construction and installation engineering.
- Experience in checking of primary and secondary structural drawings, Designing and Modeling of steel structural drawings and Preparation of bill of materials (BOM)
- Experience in the Modelling and Design Drawings as well as Construction Drawings for Structural Steel G.A Detailing & RCC drawings.
- Experience in Fabrication drawing and Installation drawings.
- Shall be capable for planning, organizing and delegation of work to discipline engineers and drafting staff working, material controller etc. to meet the project fabrication requirements.
- Interface for discipline level requirements with key project personnel from various functions like Engineering, Construction, Planning, Quality, HSE, Cost control, hook up etc.
- Responsible review of various types of tender documents and providing inputs for allotted enquiries.
- Responsible / Participate / Involve in project related activities like Risk Assessment, Constructability, Material handling, HAZID, 3D model reviews (PDS/PDMS). Provide technical guidance, supervision and support of activities in the site during execution stage.
- Provide technical input during FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning/start-up stages of the project and monitor the implementation processes, in order to achieve deliverable and facilities that meet project requirements.
- Well versed and Knowledge in SACS,STAAD Pro, ANSYS, PDMS, TEKLA AutoCAD, etc.
- Experience in Green field and brown filed offshore structural detail engineering
- Well versed in Structural Analysis and Design of Offshore Jacket structures, topsides and substructures. Also experienced in Floating structures like FPSO Topside Modules, Onshore Modules and helidecks in Oil and Gas industry
- Familiar with Codes & standards such as ASME, ASCI, API, ABS, AWS, RP2A, NORSOK, ISO, DNV, Noble Denton etc
- 5-10 years\' experience in Offshore Oil and Gas Field.
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
