Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural systems for a wide range of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects in a rapidly developing region.

Develop and review structural designs for various construction projects, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and standards Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced 3D modeling and design software Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, contractors, and other engineers, to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress Prepare detailed technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings Evaluate and recommend innovative structural solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness Participate in project planning meetings and provide expert advice on structural engineering matters Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team capabilities Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; advanced degree preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent international certification Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design, construction, and commissioning of major capital developments Proficiency in 3D structural analysis, modeling, and design software Strong knowledge of international and local (Saudi Arabian) building codes and standards Experience with MicroStation, BIM, and AutoCAD Proficiency in computer applications such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of asset management principles as applied to structural systems Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Innovative mindset and willingness to explore new technologies and methodologies Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
