Structural Draftsman - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
The Structural Draftsman will be responsible for producing accurate structural drawings and layouts for residential, commercial, and high-rise projects. Working closely with structural engineers and project teams, this role ensures that all drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards, while supporting seamless coordination with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Translate structural and architectural designs into accurate technical drawings
• Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
• Revise and update drawings based on engineer, consultant, or site feedback
• Maintain proper documentation and records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings in line with project schedules
• Collaborate with architectural, MEP, and other teams to maintain drawing coordination across disciplines
• Support in preparing as-built drawings for submission upon project completion

Ideal Profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a structural draftsman in the construction industry
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other BIM software is an added advantage
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to interpret technical information
• Good communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver drawings under tight deadlines
