Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
Structural Draftsman
with a minimum of 6 years of experience in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings, coordinating with engineers, and ensuring compliance with project standards and local regulations. A valid UAE driving license is required for site coordination and project-related travel.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, plans, and layouts based on engineering specifications.
- Work closely with structural engineers to interpret design intent and requirements.
- Ensure drawings are compliant with local authority regulations and standards.
- Revise and update drawings as per engineer feedback or site modifications.
- Maintain proper documentation of drawings and revisions.
- Conduct site visits as required for coordination and verification.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (Architectural, MEP) to ensure alignment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Structural Draftsman in the UAE (preferably Dubai).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of structural detailing and construction methods.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and other authority requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
