Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Structural Draftsman Proficiency in Tekla Structures and relevant structural detailing software Strong understanding of steel and reinforced concrete detailing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Excellent communication and coordination skills

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and detailed structural drawings, including general arrangements, sections, elevations, and reinforcement details as per project and engineering requirements. Convert design concepts and sketches from structural engineers into clear, detailed technical drawings suitable for construction and approvals. Produce rebar shop drawings and bar bending schedules for slabs, beams, columns, foundations, retaining walls, and other structural components. Create detailed structural steel shop drawings, including connection details, fabrication drawings, bolt schedules, and erection plans. Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations, international standards, and project specifications. Coordinate with Architectural and MEP disciplines to prevent clashes and ensure design consistency. Assist in preparing design development, tender, IFC, and construction drawing packages, including revisions and updates. Maintain drawing registers, track revisions, and ensure proper documentation and submission control. Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on site changes. Follow company QA/QC standards and maintain organized document control systems.

Education:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in structural and reinforcement detailing within the UAE construction industry.
