Requirements:
Diploma or ITI in Civil / Structural Engineering.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
(knowledge of
Revit Structure
,
Navisworks
, or other BIM tools is a plus).
Proficient in MS Office and relevant structural drafting/design tools.
Minimum 8 years of experience
in structural drafting, preferably in
high-rise building projects within the GCC region
.
Strong knowledge of
structural detailing
including concrete and steel structures.
Familiar with
international and local authority standards
such as ACI, BS, ASTM, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.
Previous experience working in an
engineering consultancy
is
required
.
Familiarity with
Dubai authority submissions and approval processes
is an advantage.
Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed
structural drawings
(plans, sections, details) for high-rise buildings in accordance with project and authority requirements.
Drafting of
concrete and steel structures
including footings, slabs, beams, columns, cores, etc.
Ensure drawings are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate closely with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines for seamless project delivery.
Modify and revise drawings based on redlines and engineering markups.
Maintain proper documentation, drawing records, and backups for future reference.
