. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in preparing structural drawings, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
detailed structural drawings
(steel, concrete, reinforcement, etc.) using
AutoCAD
and other relevant software.
Assist engineers in drafting
shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction plans
.
Ensure all drawings comply with
UAE/GCC standards
and project specifications.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design discrepancies.
Review and revise drawings based on site requirements and feedback.
Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
Requirements:
Diploma/Certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering or Drafting
.
Minimum 4 years of total drafting experience
, with
at least 2 years in the UAE/GCC
(preferably in construction or engineering consultancy).
Proficiency in AutoCAD
(Revit/BIM knowledge is a plus).
Strong understanding of
steel & concrete structures, reinforcement detailing, and construction methodologies
.
Knowledge of
UAE/GCC building codes
(e.g., Dubai Municipality regulations).
Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
