to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate structural and shop drawings for reinforced concrete and post-tensioned structures, as well as performing
quantity take-offs (QTOs)
to support estimation and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare structural drawings, reinforcement layouts, and detailed shop drawings for concrete and post-tensioned elements.
Perform accurate
quantity take-offs (QTOs)
for structural components including concrete, rebar, and post-tension tendons.
Work closely with structural engineers to ensure drawings align with design intent and engineering standards.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, UAE building codes, and industry standards.
Maintain proper documentation of all drawings and QTO reports.
Requirements:
Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Minimum of
3-5 years
of experience as a structural draftsman in the
UAE
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
; knowledge of
Revit
and other BIM tools is a plus.
Strong knowledge of quantity take-off methods for structural elements.
Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural and landscape drawings.
High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
