Role Overview:

The Structural Draftsman will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and plans based on engineers' designs and specifications. The role requires proficiency in drafting software and a strong understanding of structural principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed structural drawings, plans, and schematics for building projects using drafting software.

- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that designs are accurately represented in drawings.

- Review and interpret engineering specifications and design documents to prepare comprehensive and precise drafts.

- Update and modify drawings based on feedback and design changes.

- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.

- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and regulations in all drafts.

- Coordinate with the project team to resolve any drafting-related issues and incorporate necessary changes.

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in structural drafting, with a focus on building projects.

- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.

- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices.

- Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.
