Job Description

We are looking for a

Structural Draftsman

with strong experience in preparing detailed structural drawings for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with UAE codes and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

accurate and detailed structural drawings

, layouts, and shop drawings using

AutoCAD and Revit

. Work closely with structural engineers to

translate design concepts into technical drawings

. Ensure all drawings comply with

UAE building codes

,

local authority standards

, and international guidelines.

Coordinate with other disciplines

such as architectural and MEP teams to ensure clash-free designs and smooth project integration. Review and revise drawings based on

engineers' inputs, authority comments

, and project requirements. Maintain and update a

comprehensive drawing library

for easy retrieval and future reference. Prepare

as-built drawings

and documentation for project handover. Support in quantity take-off and preparation of BOQs where necessary. Assist in

submissions to local authorities

(e.g., ADM, DMT, KEZAD, RAKEZ). Work under strict deadlines while maintaining a

high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Degree

in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.

8-12 years of experience

as a Structural Draftsman in the

UAE

(mandatory). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

Revit

; knowledge of other structural software is an advantage. Strong understanding of

UAE building codes

, local authority submission processes, and international standards. Excellent knowledge of

structural detailing

, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and connections. Experience in

industrial, commercial, and residential projects

preferred. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to

work independently and collaboratively

in a fast-paced environment.
