Job Summary:

COENGR is seeking a detail-oriented

Structural Draftsman

to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves preparing precise structural drawings and documentation in alignment with project requirements, engineering specifications, and applicable codes for a range of engineering and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed structural drawings, layouts, and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software. Interpret and convert engineers' designs, sketches, and calculations into accurate technical drawings. Coordinate closely with structural engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and compatibility. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, consultants, and clients. Maintain drawing records, revisions, and project documentation in an organized manner. Ensure compliance with UAE and international codes, standards, and project specifications. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and quantity take-offs when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field. Minimum 3 years of proven experience in structural drafting, preferably in the UAE. Proficiency in AutoCAD and of Revit Structure. Strong understanding of structural detailing, building methods, and construction processes. Ability to interpret and produce precise technical drawings from engineering inputs. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience:

Previous work experience in an engineering consultancy. Familiarity with Abu Dhabi Municipality standards and UAE building codes.
