We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer specialized in Post-Tensioned Slabs Design and strong background in structural design using RAM and SAFE software. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working on post-tensioned concrete structures in the UAE, with a solid understanding of local codes and project requirements. A valid Dubai Municipality license or equivalent is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and analyze post-tensioned slabs, Traditional slab systems and structural elements using RAM, SAFE and Etabs software.
Develop construction drawings, tendon layouts, and calculations in compliance with UAE standards.
Review and approve structural shop drawings and ensure timely project delivery.
Ensure designs meet local regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (3-5) years of experience in structural design and analysis, with a focus on post-tensioned slabs.
Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g. ASCE, ACI, DBC and authority regulations)
Teamwork skills, and Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Required software skills:
ETABS / SAFE / Ram concept / Adapt builder (is a plus)
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
