Structural Designer Manager (Aluminum)

Find your next role with Adecco! We are currently recruiting for a Structural Designer Manager for our client, a leading manufacturer in the Dubai:
The primary function of the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design and development of innovative aluminum frame tents and temporary structures. This role will involve conceptualizing, visualizing, and creating tent designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Conceptualize and develop design concepts for aluminum frame tents and temporary structures, taking into consideration factors such as aesthetics, functionality, and safety.
• CAD Drafting: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed technical drawings and plans based on design specifications.
• Structural Analysis: Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure that designs meet structural integrity and safety requirements. Analyze designs for wind load, snow load, and other environmental factors.
• Material Selection: Work with the procurement and R&D teams to select appropriate materials for construction, considering factors like durability, weight, and cost-effectiveness.
• Customization: Tailor designs to meet specific client needs, including branding, interior layouts, and other customizations.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that designs meet industry standards and company quality guidelines. Address any design-related issues to enhance the quality and safety of the structures.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure seamless design-to-production transitions.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with the sales and customer engagement teams to understand client requirements, preferences, and design expectations.
• Research and Innovation: Participate in research and development activities, staying updated on industry trends, materials, and construction techniques to drive innovation in design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in designing aluminum frame tents or similar temporary structures.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Knowledge of structural design and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Creativity and an eye for aesthetics.
• Understanding of industry regulations and safety standards.
• Experience with tent and fabric material selection is a plus.
