Position Overview
The Structural Design Engineer role with Achieve Group in Dubai supports an A1 main contractor delivering civil and infrastructure projects with a strong focus on structural steel works. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural connection details, member sizing, and steel framing layouts
• Review, coordinate, and manage shop drawings with fabricators and subcontractors
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to meet design and construction requirements
• Provide technical support during fabrication, delivery, and on-site installation
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs, safety standards, and quality requirements
• Ensure structural designs comply with relevant engineering codes and regulatory guidelines
• Resolve design clashes, technical queries, and site-related structural issues
• Support planning and management of the structural design scope for assigned projects

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• Solid understanding of steel structural design principles and construction methods
• Minimum two years of hands-on experience using Tekla for structural steel works
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Tekla, and Revit
• Strong understanding of structural behaviour and engineering fundamentals
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of independent problem-solving
• Willingness to attend site meetings and inspections as required
