Key Responsibilities

• Independently develop and supervise structural engineering deliverables to meet customer and project quality requirements
• Define engineering problems, establish work scope, and plan design activities including schedules and budgets
• Prepare detailed structural calculations, drawings, design packages, technical reports, and analyses
• Support procurement activities, proposal evaluations, and technical submissions
• Provide technical direction and guidance to CAD designers, drafters, and junior engineers
• Lead structural design activities for bridges and tunnels on small to medium-sized projects
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and constructible design solutions
• Review and manage design outputs to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum eight years of structural design experience, primarily in bridges and tunnels
• Proven experience in segmental construction bridges and steel bridge design
• Ability to perform in a lead engineer role and supervise technical teams

Skills Set

• Strong proficiency in structural modelling and analysis software including CSi Bridge, Midas Civil, IdeaStatica, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, SP Column, Bentley RAM, Prokon, and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design
• Experience with CAD, BIM, and Revit for structural design and coordination
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination practices
• Working knowledge of computational design tools such as Grasshopper and Python considered an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills
• Ability to integrate automation and advanced digital practices into structural design workflows
