Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural solutions for large-scale commercial, residential, and mixed-use building projects
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the safety, stability, and efficiency of all structural components
• Utilize structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro for modeling, simulation, and optimization
• Coordinate closely with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to integrate structural systems into multidisciplinary project designs
• Ensure adherence to local Dubai Municipality codes and international standards for structural design
• Review design drawings, specifications, and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Participate in design progress meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical queries
• Stay current with advances in structural materials, design technologies, and sustainable engineering practices
• Contribute to technical documentation, design reports, and structural specifications
• Perform site visits and inspections to verify implementation of design intent and address construction-stage technical issues

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in structural design for large and complex projects
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis principles and regional design standards
• Proficiency in SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD
• Experience with reinforced concrete, steel, and composite structures
• Sound understanding of seismic design and load analysis
• Excellent problem-solving, mathematical, and technical report-writing skills
• Familiarity with sustainable and green building design standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within multicultural project teams
