Our newest opportunity is for a talented Street Lighting Inspector to join our award winning team in Al Ain, UAE.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Conduct inspections of street lighting projects during various stages of construction to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Verify that lighting fixtures, poles, and other components are installed according to design requirements.
• Ensure that street lighting installations adhere to local, state, and national safety standards and regulations.
• Verify compliance with environmental and energy efficiency requirements.
• Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship to ensure the durability and longevity of street lighting installations.
• Identify and address any deviations from approved plans or specifications.
• Create detailed inspection reports documenting findings, deviations, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including photographs and measurements.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address and resolve issues identified during inspections.
• Communicate inspection results to relevant stakeholders and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Conduct functional tests on lighting fixtures, control systems, and associated components to ensure proper operation.
• Participate in the commissioning process, verifying that the entire street lighting system functions as intended.
• Verify that safety measures are in place during construction and that the completed installations meet safety standards.
• Report and address any safety hazards or concerns.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 5 years work experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
