Strategic Insights Associate
We are looking for a Stretegic Insights Associate for a position based in Casablanca, and reporting to Strategic Insights Lead Manager. In this role, you will work with M&S and other JTI functions as Trusted Business Partner, supporting consumer, trade and business understanding, via research studies and analysis/reporting of data sources.
What you will be doing:
SI AMBASSADOR: - Actively contribute to the development of SI expertise in North & West Africa markets. Extend awareness and knowledge (methodology, results) of research activities across the team. - Promote KPIs/efficiency culture by demonstrating benefits of this business approach. - Share SI results and recommendations including summary presentations for all finalized studies, - Ensure constant SI support and clarifications available for the team.
KPIs MONITORING and REPORTING: - Support and execute a complete, effective and insightful Consumer KPIs monitoring and reporting system for JTI in North & West Africa markets. - Ensure that key business consumer indicators are effectively and promptly tracked with constant frequency, focusing on different internal and external data sources.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: - Coordinate daily communication with research agencies including administrative and legal support. - Apply and ensure budget compliance with all finance, legal and PPO procedures. - In coordination with PPO, liaise with current and potential providers in order to get best research services and prices.
SI GUARDIANSHIP: - Supervise, monitor, and control research agencies to provide accurate and business-related information on consumer and customer trends, behaviors and competitive activity - Supervise all assigned North & West Africa research Agenda projects from set-up to execution, perfoming tight monitoring toward accurate executions and reliable results. Initiate and drive solutions when required (fieldworks, questionnaires, methodologies). - Support in managing data/knowledge and database and act as one of key guardians (and challenger) in terms of methodology, reliability, consolidation and reporting.
STRATEGIC ANALYSIS: - Contribute actively to company strategic planning processes by preparing market performance and analysis/reviews when requested - Initiate and support other team members with specific business cases; - Provide SI recommendations that are taken into action during market plan development.
Required qualifications: University Degree At least 3 years in Market research industry. Fluent English, Arabic and French.
Market research (Qualitative and Quantittaive, Retail audit.
Advanced ppt and Excel skills
Advanced data analysis/analytical skills.
Power BI, experience with Generative AI will be a plus
