Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive our operations, logistics, and finance automation initiatives. This position is perfect for a data-oriented professional who thrives on analytical challenges and has a passion for optimizing business processes in a fast-paced eCommerce environment. You'll be instrumental in analysing supply chain performance, logistics costs, and process efficiencies across multiple departments to ensure seamless global operations.
Core Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Business IntelligenceAnalyse complex datasets from logistics partners, 3PLs, and carriers to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
Create and maintain automated reporting systems for tracking order fulfilment, delivery performance, and inventory management
Support strategic planning through data-driven forecasting and demand planning using historical analytics and market trends
Supply Chain & Logistics OptimizationEvaluate performance metrics for global manufacturers, carriers, and 3PLs to ensure operational excellence
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend targeted automation solutions
Provide data-backed insights to support contract negotiations with logistics partners
Process Automation & Improvement
Collaborate on implementing AI-driven automation tools to enhance operational workflows
Partner with technology teams to integrate real-time tracking systems, automated order processing, and dynamic inventory management
Map and redesign workflows across order fulfilment, returns processing, and customer service to maximize automation opportunities
Cross-Departmental CollaborationWork seamlessly with operations, logistics, technology, and finance teams to enhance order processing and fulfilment strategies
Support the evaluation and implementation of new systems and tools that drive operational efficiency
Financial Analysis & Profitability Reporting
Manage and enhance the accuracy of existing profitability margin reporting
Develop improved functionality for current margin reporting systems
Validate daily margin reports in partnership with the Finance team
Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of daily revenues, manufacturing costs, logistics expenses, and marketing spend
Qualifications & Experience
Essential SkillsAdvanced proficiency in analytical tools and platforms (Excel, Python, Google Sheets, SQL)
Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable business intelligence using visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to diverse stakeholders
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, international business environment
Preferred ExperienceWorking knowledge of eCommerce operations, supply chain management, logistics, and financial processes
Experience analysing large, complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights
Familiarity with automation technologies, AI applications, or ERP systems
Background in process improvement methodologies
You must possess a valid visa which allows you to work for any employer in the UAE
Salary Range: AED 6,000-8,000 per month
