Job Summary:
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within a warehouse or storage facility. They ensure accurate inventory records, maintain stock levels, and handle shipments efficiently while adhering to safety and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities: * Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
• Verify quantities, quality, and documentation of goods.
• Organize and maintain stock in designated storage areas.
• Conduct regular stock checks and update inventory records.
• Order Fulfillment:

• Prepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling of outgoing goods.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
• Warehouse Maintenance:

• Keep storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow proper storage procedures to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of stock movements (in/out).
• Generate reports on inventory levels, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Assist in stock audits and cycle counts.
• Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials (if applicable).
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely (if certified).

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification in inventory management is a plus).
• Proven experience as a storekeeper, warehouse assistant, or similar role.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory software like SAP or WMS).
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Physical stamina (able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods).
• Knowledge of safety standards in warehousing.
