Store Keeper - Glass Industry (Machines & Hardware Tools)

We are seeking a reliable and organized

Store Keeper

to manage inventory, storage, and distribution of glass machinery, spare parts, and hardware tools. The role requires accuracy in stock control, good documentation skills, and strong knowledge of store management systems.

Candidates with at least 1 year of glass hardware experience will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory records of machines, spare parts, and glass hardware tools. Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders. Organize and store materials in a safe, clean, and accessible manner. Issue tools, consumables, and parts to technicians and workers as per requisition. Record stock movements and update system/stock registers regularly. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports in Excel. Conduct periodic stock checks and reconcile physical vs system stock. Coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment of stock. Ensure compliance with safety standards in handling and storing fragile/valuable items. Monitor usage of high-value tools and prevent loss, damage, or misuse. Support cost control by minimizing wastage and managing stock efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the glass, hardware, or machinery industry.

Minimum 1 year of experience in glass hardware stores preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (must).

Intermediate knowledge of Tally Prime (inventory & stock journal)

Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures. Good communication and coordination skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Physically fit to handle medium to heavy tools and equipment. High school diploma or equivalent (diploma in supply chain/logistics preferred).

Indians preferred (especially from Kerala)
