We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Storekeeper

with a strong background in the

construction industry

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring efficient stock control, and supporting smooth site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and properly store materials and equipment delivered to the site Issue materials and tools to site personnel based on daily requirements Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock checks Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and storage of items to avoid damage or loss Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the procurement or project manager Coordinate with suppliers and site supervisors regarding delivery schedules Maintain cleanliness and safety of the storage areas Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports Follow company policies and procedures related to material handling and documentation

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Storekeeper in a

construction environment

(minimum 2-3 years) Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment Familiarity with inventory software or ERP systems is a plus Ability to read and interpret delivery notes, purchase orders, and requisitions Excellent organizational and time-management skills Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word) Physically fit and able to lift heavy items High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus
