to join our catering company in RAK. The ideal candidate must have at least
4 years' experience
managing stores or inventory, preferably in the food and beverage or catering industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and store all incoming supplies and materials.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
Issue supplies to kitchen, canteen, and cafe staff as requested, following proper procedures.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly inventory checks.
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper rotation of food items (FIFO method).
Ensure that all storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
Coordinate with the purchasing team for stock replenishment.
Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately to management.
Maintain records of receipts, issues, and returns.
Assist in preparing inventory reports for management review.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar storekeeper role, preferably in catering or food service.
Strong understanding of stock management, food safety, and handling procedures.
Good English communication skills (reading and basic writing).
Familiar with inventory software or willing to learn.
Attention to detail, honesty, and a high level of responsibility.
Ability to lift and move stock items when needed.
Positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
