Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for fulfilling all warehouse activities.

Key Accountabilities

Receipt of incoming goods from a trailer or container should follow standard procedures, and they are to be moved to the Goods Inward area. Incoming goods packages/boxes should be visually checked for packing damage. If any damage or tearing of boxes is noticed, it should be reported to the team leader or warehouse manager. All incoming material should be counted and verified with the IAJ (Invoice/Advice of Job). If the received quantity does not match the invoice/IAJ quantity, the MSR log should be updated. This quantity discrepancy should be clearly highlighted in the Item Arrival Journal copy to ensure accurate posting of the physically received quantity. All 'Red channel' items must be moved to the inspection area and offered to incoming QA for inspection, along with the respective invoice or delivery note. When locating parts in storage locations, ensure that the FIFO methodology is followed, and that the storage location and bins are of adequate size and type. Ensure that all shelf-life-controlled (perishable) goods are stored in the perishable room, and strict FIFO practices are followed. Maintain physical and system stock accuracy and control of the parts in the warehouse. Execute error-free transfer order picking and transfer to the production line within the defined time frame to avoid any delays. Ensure that production consumables are issued to the concerned department on time without any delay. Inform the team leader if any stock mismatch is found between the pick list requirements and the physical stock available. Before loading the finished goods units, ensure that all packaging is done according to requirements. Additionally, use heat-treated pallets as specified by the customer's purchase order and the countries where heat-treated pallets are mandatory. Load the finished goods units according to the requirements of the contracts department and ensure that the correct units are dispatched to customers.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Education:

ITI (Fitter or Equivalent)

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience

Job-Specific Skills:

Knowledge of Computer/Microsoft office and ERP system related to Warehouse transactions.

Must have valid UAE Forklift Licens
