Storekeeper (Factory)
Location: Dubai, UAE (Factory/Industrial Area)
Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Logistics Manager / Procurement Manager
Job Summary:
The Storekeeper is responsible for the efficient receiving, storage, issuance, and recording of all materials, tools, and equipment within the factory warehouse. This role ensures inventory accuracy, proper storage conditions, and supports uninterrupted factory operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive all incoming materials, verify quantities against Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery notes, and inspect for damage.
• Accurately label, bin, and store items in their designated locations within the warehouse.
• Issue materials to production departments or projects based on approved Material Request Forms (MRFs) or picking lists.
• Maintain accurate and real-time inventory records in the warehouse management system or stock ledger.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical stock takes, reconciling discrepancies with the inventory system.
• Ensure proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature-sensitive items, hazardous materials) and implement FIFO/FEFO methods where applicable.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with HSE standards.
• Prepare and pack materials for outbound shipments as required.
• Coordinate with the procurement and planning departments for stock replenishment and report on slow-moving or obsolete stock.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and maintain their service records.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a storekeeper in a factory, manufacturing, or construction environment in the UAE.
• Mandatory: Valid UAE Forklift License.
• Strong numerical skills and experience with inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle).
• Physically fit to handle materials and operate in a warehouse setting.
• Honest, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or Urdu/Hindi is an advantage.
