To manage and control all aviation spares, components, tooling, and consumables within the Part 145 stores environment. The Storekeeper is responsible for ensuring all logistics, warehousing, and import/export activities comply with company procedures, EASA Part 145 regulations, and local authority requirements, thereby directly supporting the operational continuity and airworthiness of the maintenance operation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
1. Inventory & Warehouse Management:
Perform receiving, inspection, binning, storage, issuing, dispatching, and pre-loading of all aircraft parts, tools, and materials.
Maintain accurate and real-time inventory records in the Aviation ERP system.
Execute regular stock checks, cycle counts, and full inventory audits.
Ensure proper storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity, segregation) in accordance with manufacturers' and regulatory requirements.
Maintain excellent general housekeeping, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient warehouse environment (5S principles).
2. Regulatory & Quality Compliance:
Ensure all shelf-life items, serviceable/unserviceable parts, and quarantine items are clearly identified, stored, and handled as per EASA Part 145, company MOE, and relevant airworthiness directives.
Process and certify all documentation for incoming and outgoing parts, including EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3, Certificates of Conformity, and shipping documents.
Manage the import and export processes for aircraft parts, ensuring full compliance.
3. Tooling Control:
Manage the tool calibration program, ensuring all calibrated tools and test equipment are tracked and issued within their validity period.
Control the receipt, issue, and return of special tooling.
Maintain the tools loan register and coordinate with the Maintenance team.
Essential Criteria (Mandatory)
Education:
Diploma in Engineering, Sciences, or Similar
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in stores or warehousing operations within the
aviation industry
, preferably in an EASA Part 145 or equivalent environment.
Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of aviation logistics, warehousing procedures, and statutory regulations (EASA, Customs).
Familiarity with airworthiness requirements related to aviation materials (traceability, certification, shelf-life).
Working knowledge of a Quality Management System (QMS) in aviation.
Proficient in using Aviation ERP/MRO IT systems (e.g., AMOS, TRAX, SAP).
