Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
Record stock receipts, issues, and balances accurately (manual or computerized systems)
Store items properly to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration
Issue materials/items as per authorized requisitions
Maintain optimal stock levels; initiate reorders when necessary
Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations (physical vs. records)
Label, code, and organize inventory for easy identification and access
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the store/warehouse
Handle returns, damaged, or expired items according to procedures
