The Storekeeper will be responsible for the efficient management of the company's store operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, proper storage of materials, and timely issuance of supplies to relevant departments. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of receipts and issues of goods.
Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Update inventory management system (ERP or manual logs) accurately and promptly.
Ensure proper storage conditions for materials to prevent damage or loss.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment.
Prepare and submit periodic inventory reports to management.
Enforce compliance with safety and housekeeping standards within the store.
Assist in internal and external audits related to inventory.
Handle the issuance and return of tools, equipment, and consumables.
