Job Description
Storekeeper - With factory Experience ( 2.5 to 3.5k + Accommodation)
The Storekeeper is responsible for efficiently managing the storage, handling, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures accurate inventory control, proper documentation, and timely supply of materials to project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming materials and supplies as per delivery notes and purchase orders. Ensure that materials received are of the right type, quality, and quantity. Properly store materials in designated areas following company safety and organization standards. Issue materials, tools, and consumables to site supervisors or project teams as per approved material requests. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital systems (e.g., Excel, ERP, or inventory software). Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Monitor minimum stock levels and alert the Purchase/Project Manager for reordering. Label and organize materials for easy identification and access. Ensure safe handling, stacking, and storage of materials, including hazardous items like paints, adhesives, and chemicals. Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety and environmental standards. Coordinate with logistics and project teams for timely material dispatch and delivery. Maintain tools and equipment issuance records and ensure their return in proper condition. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Materials Management preferred).Experience:
2-5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably in an interior fit-out, construction, or MEP company.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
