Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive incoming materials, equipment, and supplies and verify their accuracy against delivery documents. Inspect and ensure the quality and condition of received items, reporting any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor. Safely store materials and equipment in designated areas within the warehouse, ensuring proper organization and accessibility. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels using inventory management software or manual tracking methods. Monitor inventory levels, anticipate reordering needs, and communicate with procurement and project teams to ensure timely restocking. Issue materials, tools, and equipment to construction crews as per their requirements and maintain records of issuances. Perform regular inventory audits to reconcile physical counts with system records and investigate any discrepancies. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and in compliance with safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate the return of excess or unused materials and equipment to suppliers. Assist in preparing and packing materials for shipment to various construction sites. Comply with all safety procedures and guidelines, including the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse equipment and facilities. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in warehouse management is a plus. Proven experience as a Storekeeper in the construction industry Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel for Reporting Requirements

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
