Island Tower Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Storekeeper to manage inventory and materials at our site/store. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in infrastructure, construction, or steel industries, and must be capable of handling day-to-day store operations with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and tools.
Maintain proper inventory records using manual or digital systems.
Ensure correct storage and handling of materials.
Issue materials to site teams as per project requirements.
Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material needs.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase requests for replenishment.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the storage area.
Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory audits.
Manage documentation related to goods received and issued.
Report damaged or missing inventory to relevant departments.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a storekeeper, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or steel industry.
Knowledge of inventory control and storekeeping best practices.
Familiarity with tools and materials used in construction projects.
Basic computer skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Immediate availability is a must.
UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
