Job Description

  • Operation of stores including HSEQ
  • Management of inventory database including PR, RFQ and PO, issued materials, return materials
  • Monitoring and control of stock levels \xe2\x80\x93 minimum and maximum \xe2\x80\x93 ROP and ECQ
  • Transferring materials from one site to another on time and in line with requirements
  • Implement \'just in time\' stock items from suppliers, wherever possible. Maintain optimum stock levels
  • Establish and maintain all policies and procedures for central stores and procurement practices.
  • Administration as required
  • Carry out quality assessments of materials on receipt
  • Produce monthly stock report detailing balance, issue and stock
  • Management and audit of stock
  • Carry out orientation and familiarization with new starters
  • Maintain a safe place of work. Immediately notify the supervisor of any safety issues or concerns
  • Carry out, to the best of your ability, all tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager.
  • Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance. Uniform must be worn and should be clean and in a good state of repair
  • Comply with all processes and procedures (Human Resources, HSEQ, Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Operations) which include compliance with all applicable rules and regulations of the local labour law
