The purpose of this position is to support shipping and receiving, deliveries, coordinating stock documenting warehouse transactions, maintaining records, overseeing storage of surplus inventory and property for the company. \xef\x82\xb7 Ensure that all goods received are stocked in the warehouse/storerooms; ensure the goods are received with the required supporting documentation (delivery notes, receiving reports & purchasing orders).
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for storage of fresh food and vegetables and operational stock.
\xef\x82\xb7 Issuance of stock and inventory control; good housekeeping practices.
\xef\x82\xb7 Inspect materials before receiving and reporting it; take proper action to store the materials.
\xef\x82\xb7 Gather information about vendors and verify receipts and issuance of materials. \xef\x82\xb7 Conduct checks between documented records and actual stock; investigate discrepancies where necessary and report to the concerned person.
\xef\x82\xb7 To be prepared at any time for a management stock reviews.
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for day to day check on the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene.
\xef\x82\xb7 Should be able to follow standards for issuing and receiving stock within the stores.
\xef\x82\xb7 Should have understanding of standards of HACCP in storage practices.
\xef\x82\xb7 Proper records of all stock movements.
\xef\x82\xb7 Stocks to be supplied in a timely manner to the retail locations.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensures adequate health and safety and food storage principle are followed in line with QA program.
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiar with all company\xe2\x80\x99s policies and procedures.
\xef\x82\xb7 Applies storekeeping procedures and methods in arranging space, conducting inventory, estimating needs and maintain and preparing records and reports as directed. Qualifications, Experience & Skills \xef\x82\xb7 Minimum graduate / High school. \xef\x82\xb7 Successfully completed a training program in storekeeping. \xef\x82\xb7 4 years of experience as storekeeper for fresh items (fruits & vegetables) preferred. \xef\x82\xb7 Warehouse procedures, methods of proper and orderly storage and issuance of materials. \xef\x82\xb7 Basic inventory procedures, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, packing slips, bills of lading. \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of warehouse record keeping systems \xe2\x80\x93 Computerized. \xef\x82\xb7 Working under pressure. \xef\x82\xb7 Good communication skills interpersonal skills. \xef\x82\xb7 Good English language.
