Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Storekeeper

with a background in

Food and Beverage (F&B)

to manage inventory, ensure timely stock replenishment, and maintain food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling perishable and non-perishable items, understand FIFO/FEFO principles, and support smooth kitchen and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming food and beverage items against purchase orders and invoices. Ensure proper storage of all F&B products according to safety and hygiene standards (temperature control, labeling, etc.). Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and/or inventory software (e.g., ERP, POS). Monitor stock levels regularly and coordinate with purchasing team for replenishment. Apply

FIFO (First In, First Out)

and

FEFO (First Expiry, First Out)

inventory methods to reduce wastage and manage shelf life. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and assist with audits. Safely store and organize products in designated areas (dry, cold, and frozen storage). Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store area in compliance with food safety regulations. Collaborate with chefs and service teams to fulfill requisitions accurately and on time. Report any discrepancies, damages, or expired goods immediately.

Requirements:

Minimum

2-5 years

of experience as a storekeeper in a

food and beverage

environment (restaurant, hotel, catering, or food production). Strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP practices. Familiarity with inventory control systems and MS Excel. Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy stock. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certificate or diploma in Storekeeping, Inventory Management, or F&B Management. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Odoo) or restaurant inventory software. Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
