Maintain accurate records of all materials received, issued, and stored at the site or warehouse.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Perform daily inventory checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and safety of materials, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and project managers to ensure timely material availability.
Record and update all financial transactions related to purchases, expenses, and petty cash.
Assist in preparing monthly accounts, VAT records, and financial reports for management.
Monitor vendor invoices, coordinate with accounts for timely payments, and maintain vendor ledgers.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and internal control procedures.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
2 years of experience in a similar role within an interior fit-out or construction company.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of inventory control and bookkeeping principles.
Good communication, organization, and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
