To receive, issue & return the materials as per the Purchase order/Work Order/Inventory usage. To arrange inspection of the items received from purchase order with the engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods as well as delivering goods from the store. To identify and issue the required materials quickly against the approved issue vouchers.
Unloading of delivered material by forklift.
Report to Store officer or procurement buyer for any discrepancy found during the receiving/inspection of materials.
Material receipt report and other receipt documents should be forwarded to finance and copies of original documents are to be filed in stores.
Rejection of materials, the details of the rejected material such discrepancy is to send to procurement section for actions. When necessary the material is also returned to supplier.
Labeling, tagging and locating of material in specified bin location after the posting in Maximo and put away the received materials.
During material issuance, if forklift operation is required, then responsible store man is required to do the forklift operation.
The store man is responsible to do the housekeeping, filing, binning, racking and transfer of materials from store to store by physically or by forklift.
All the issue/return transaction should be posted in Maximo on real time basis.
To visit the stored items daily and inform to the Stores Officer for any discrepancy observed.
Fulfill the roles and responsibilities as per procurement department procedures & polices.

Fire Prevention Inspection upon receipt of a Fire Prevention Inspection Report;
Ensure that all noted issues and concerns are corrected as appropriate.
Hazardous Material and Waste Management: Inform employees and contractors that hazardous materials and hazardous waste, except as expressly authorized by regulations may not be disposed of via the sewer system, regular trash, fume hoods or other unsafe or environmentally damaging routes;
And to stress the importance of proper hazardous material/waste management.
Ensure 3R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) during purchasing materials.
2. Minimum qualification and experience
Any Graduate or equivalent to it
Driving license and forklift license
Maximo knowledge is preferable and advantages
Experience:
Shall possess min 2 year experience in Store functions or store keeping.
3. Competencies
Good communicator in English and Arabic preferable.
Organized with good computer skills, preferably competent with MS Word, Excel and Access.
Focused on time and compliance
Strong desire to learn & improve processes.
4. Physical Effort
Primarily an office based position; however, some activity is required in the field.
